Perp Games, the publisher behind the upcoming PSVR shooter The American Dream, has today announced that it will be bringing The American Dream to retail stores shortly after its initial release on the PlayStation Network.
The American Dream will release on PS4/PSVR this March 14th on the PlayStation Store, but if you really, really want to hold The American Dream in your hands, you’ll be able to get a physical copy at your local video game retailer from April 6th.
It’s nice to see another PSVR release making its way to retail. Most PSVR releases tend to be digital-only, so it’s always welcome news when a publisher announces its intentions to support its game at retail. Not everybody has broadband, after all.
Will you be picking up The American Dream digitally? Or will you wait a couple of weeks for the physical release? Or maybe you’ll get both? Let us know down in the comments section below.
[Update: Correction to the game’s initial release date. Apologies for any confusion. The American Dream is out today, March 14th.]
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella.
