Lince Works, the developer behind the stealth-action game Aragami, has announced today that it will be bringing more stabby action to PS4 later this year in the form of a sizeable expansion pack called Aragami: Nightfall.
The expansion is a four-chapter prequel that takes place before the events of Aragami. The intention behind the expansion is to fill up a few plot holes left open in the original release, as well as test the skills of experienced Aragami players. The developer have taken on board plenty of fan feedback, so if you’ve been sitting on the forums saying “I want more of a challenge. Punish me, daddy!” then you’ve only got yourself to blame.
Aragami: Nightfall will also include two new playable characters as well as new powers, and a storyline that can be played alone or with a friend in co-op. Best of all, if you’re playing co-op, you can play with PC players thanks to cross-platform multiplayer. There’s no chance you’ll be playing with other platforms, though, as Sony doesn’t want us mixing with the wrong crowd. Thanks for protecting us, Sony. Cheers, lads.
There’s no release date as of yet and the press release only mentions that Aragami: Nightfall will come in the next few months. Still, the trailer looks pretty darn good and it’s got us ready for more stealth action in lieu of any Splinter Cell. Check back with Pure PlayStation for more Aragami: Nightfall news in the near future.
