ARK: Survial of the Fittest has been announced for the PS4 after a successful release on PC via Steam. The announcement was made today over on the PlayStation Blog by Studio Wildcard’s Kayd Hendricks.
Hendricks broke the news that the spin-off game will be releasing on PS4 this July 19th. ARK: Survival of the Fittest is a MOSA (Multiplayer Online Survival Arena) that is currently free-to-play on PC, though we’re not sure if that’s going to be the same on PS4. Nothing was mentioned in the blog post as to whether the game would be free-to-play or a paid release.
ARK: Survival of the Fittest pits players against each other in the fight to survive the harsh environments. Oh, and there are dinosaurs. You start the game almost completely starkers and have to get yourself some clothes, food, weapons – or you can just run around in your knickers flinging poo at everyone. Classy.
What we do know is that it’s coming this summer and the game’s trailer is pretty bloody awesome.
What say you? Up for taking on man and dinosaur, or is this one headed for extinction before it’s even evolved? Fling some poo in the comments section below.
