Yes, we know that there have been previous easter eggs regarding Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dog games. We’re not stupid, we’re just struggling to find much to write about today.
It was previously hinted in the original Watch Dogs that the games shared a common universe, what with Aiden Pearce and his “iconic” hat murdering an Abstergo employee. It was a nice nod to the fact the games are published by Ubisoft and that its teams were aware of what the other was doing, but now it’s getting deeper.
Assassin’s Creed Origins’ modern day sections drops another easter egg in the form of a document that shows Aiden and his cap killing the aforementioned employee of Abstergo. Is your mind blown? Is it? IS IT?! No, we’re not that mindblown either, but it’s nice to see the back and forth continue between the franchises. Perhaps we’ll finally get a crossover game at some point? C’mon, Ubisoft, do it.
