Remember how excited all the PS Vita fans got when it was announced that Borderlands 2 was being ported to the little handheld? We all remember jumping for joy until the game actually released, then we discovered the game ran like a 40-a-day asthmatic. Ouch.
Aside from the game’s performance woes, the game was littered with bugs, glitches and all other nasties that we didn’t really want. Well, there’s now a new patch to fix the game, sort of.
The latest patch, update version 1.09, is out now on the Vita and the patch notes are as follows:
Borderlands 2 PS Vita Update 1.09 Patch Notes (40MB Download)
- Fixed an issue where some items from the Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack are not persisting after saving or cross-saving.
Yeah, so they fixed one thing but left the most popular complaints to stew a little longer. To be fair, though, we didn’t really expect to see anymore support for the game this long after release, so the fact that we even have this patch is something to smile about. Maybe we’ll see future patches that do away with the more annoying unwanted additional features?
Are you still playing Borderlands 2 on PS Vita, or did you put that one to bed a long time ago? Splat your claptrap down in the comments section beyonder.
