It was rumoured a few days ago that Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty: WWII wouldn’t be able to run before launch day due to the need for a day one patch that opens everything up.
We’re not clear on the specifics right now – though many with early copies have stated otherwise – but we can tell you that if you have somehow managed to snag an early copy of the shooter, you can go online and get teabagged and quick-scoped if you so wish.
Twitter user Kallex has posted an image on Twitter showing the game’s multiplayer lobbies being online and well before the game’s release date. So fear not if you’ve got an early copy as you’ll be able to play online right away and get levelled up before everyone else on release day.
