If you are a fan of Call of Duty’s Zombies mode, then it’s time to rejoice, as Activision and Treyarch announce the imminent release of Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles. The collection will take players back to the very beginning and allow you to experience the complete zombie saga in true HD. Along with classic characters and locations, the folks at Activision promise Vibrant current generation visuals, enhanced lighting, improved character models and environments, as well as updated AI and audio.
These are the eight maps we can confirm at this time:
- From Call of Duty: World at War: Nacht der Untoten (Abandoned Bunker), Verruckt (Wittenau Sanitorium) and Shi No Numa (Jungle Swamp)
- From Call of Duty: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten (Theater of the Dead), Ascension (Soviet Cosmodrome), Shangri-la (Exotic Jungle Shrine) and Moon (Lunar Base)
- From Call of Duty: Black Ops II: Origins (WWI France)
What began almost ten years ago as an Easter egg for completing the campaign of Call of Duty: World and War now has its own release and we couldn’t be more excited. Depending on the price, of course, but having eight classic Zombie maps, completely remastered from the ground up and all in one handy location, sounds like a great deal.
