We have a new game announcement for those of you who like your JRPGs with a side of the supernatural. The Lost Child is coming to the PS4 and the PS Vita next year, and it puts you into the shoes of a reporter investigating suicides in Tokyo.
After meeting what we can only guess is a magical girl and receiving a mysterious device that lets him trap mythical creatures, he will do some dungeon delving through “layers” and solve a mystery that could impact the world.
There will be a variety of creatures to capture and improve and over 250 skills to learn. Some dungeons will have 99 floors, so we are glad we are never tasked with saving the world. It is a lot of stairs. We might just take a nap instead.
The Lost Child will be releasing in 2018.
NIS America Press Release
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
