ChromaGun, the first-person Portal-inspired shooter that’s releasing later this month for PS4, could be getting a PSVR port at some point in the future, according to the game’s developer.
Pixel Maniacs, the game’s developer/publisher, has confirmed that a port is being looked at after having held talks with Sony. However, it should be noted that there is no guarantee that the port will come to fruition. The developer explained that if it turns out to be too costly, it just can’t happen. Pixel Maniacs is a small independent developer, so it makes sense that if it costs too much to develop, it’s probably not economically smart to go ahead with it. That being said, we’re hoping the small team can find a way – it’s a cracking game and we’d love to see what could be done with a VR rendition.
If you’ve got any suggestions for the developer, you should head over to Reddit and share your thoughts.
