As if Crystal Dynamics is not busy enough working on Square Enix’s The Avengers Project, the California based studio has only gone and uprooted themselves into a bigger, swanky office.
“We have some great new amenities,” said Scot Amos, co-studio head.
“From hydraulic desks for everyone to adjust as they like, to black-out shades and light absorption paint for those darkness-loving developers.”
And that isn’t all. It’s also kitted out with six sound proof for audio work and a dedicated review room filled with the best gear around, alongside new office space for their ever-growing team. Everything and the kitchen sink, literally.
“With the growth of our team, we’ve also increased our studio meeting area and naturally outfitted it with tons of next-gen 4K screens, as well as dedicated console and PC gaming stations next to the huge new kitchen,” Amos added.
“Lastly, we’ve added two specialty rooms for optimal development efficiency: a photogrammetry capture space and our very own, on-site, fully equipped Motion Capture stage.”
And big plans sound afoot, if other co-studio head Ron Rosenberg’s comments are anything to go by.
“The new studio will help Crystal Dynamics our work to the next level,” he added.
“Crystal Dynamics’ new studio is nearly double the size in order to make room for all the new positions we’re hiring over the next year.”
It’s looking pretty sweet in the pictures they’ve posted on Tumblr. They’ve even got director’s chairs.
