Dark Souls Remastered Network Test Scheduled For May 11th, Join Now

Dark Souls Remastered

Bandai Namco is offering players a chance to try out Dark Souls Remastered before its release in a scheduled Network Test. The studio has announced that the trial will take place next weekend on May 11th and 12th, over two six-hour gaming sessions.

The test will be limited to the Undead Parish region, though the inclusion of its boss fight is yet to be confirmed. Or denied *sad face*. In true Dark Souls style, gamers will be able to summon players for a co-op experience. After all, a problem shared is a problem halved. And Dark Souls is known for its “problems”, read epic bosses. You’ll also be able to invade other worlds and offer your assistance hindrance.

Each day will include one six hour session, the start times of which are determined by your region. In the UK, they will start at 5pm and finish at 10.59pm, whilst in America it’s 6pm PDT and 11.59pm.

Players who would like to take part in the test must download the client from the digital store, which is available now but will be removed on May 8th at 11.59pm PDT. You have been warned!

Dark Souls Remastered launches on to screens May 25th. And is currently available to pre-order at £27.99.
