Techalnd has announced today that it’s bringing a new standalone expansion to Dying Light on PS4. The new expansion, due out sometime in 2018, will allow players to bash each others brains in online in competitive matches.
Not much is being said at the moment other than the fact the expansion is a result of fans pestering the developer for some player-on-player action.
“Our aim is both to satisfy players’ demands for competitive PvP gameplay and to explore new directions for Dying Light’s multiplayer experience,” said Techland’s tymon Smektala, who goes on to say that as it’s all coming around due to fan demand, PC players will be able to take part in the Global Playtest and give the developer feedback before the full release.
Not bad, we say, and it’s another shining example of Techland standing by its game. The developer is planning on releasing free DLC throughout 2018, though we reckon this expansion won’t come for free.
