The Quiet Man was teased during Square Enix’s showcase today. It is not a modern retelling of the John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara movie, but we won’t penalize it for getting our hopes up.
We don’t know much yet (broken record anyone?), but it is a game about a young deaf man (we assume due to the signal he gives) that can be “completed in one sitting”. We don’t have a release date yet, but we will receive more information in August.
We have posted the trailer at the top, and now we know what Terminator 2’s Edward Furlong has been doing. (We joke. Poorly.)
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
