Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 is getting a Game of the Year Edition, two years after the original launched. The highly desired Pip-Boy Collector’s Edition will also get a re-run, albeit in different packaging (no capsule). Mods will also be useable.
As is the norm, Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition will come bundled with all post-launch updates and DLC. For Fallout 4 this means all six premium add-ons, namely Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and Automatron.
Unfortunately for our non-American readers, or depending on how you look at it, fortunately for our American fans (fan?), the Pip-Boy special will only be available to buy in North America. After the scramble for stock last time, we foresee a lucrative after market… must order 20!?!
The Collector’s Edition will be available through retailers at a cost of $99.99; this will include the Game of the Year game, which will sell for $59.99 on its own.
Winner of more than 200 Best Of awards – including the 2016 BAFTA and 2016 D.I.C.E. Game of the Year – Fallout 4 is the studio’s most ambitious game yet. As the sole survivor of Vault 111, players enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. In a fight for survival they are faced with rebuilding and determining the fate of the Wasteland.
Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition launches on September 26th.
