If you pre-ordered Fallout 76, you can start playing in the beta today. To celebrate, a new live action trailer shows people happily living and killing everything around them (literally spinning in a circle while firing around them in one example) in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. In a tribute to the studio finally giving gamers a multiplayer Fallout, The Beach Boys “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” is used for the background music. The beta will help us to know if it is the experience some really want.
The beta is not without its restrictions. A recent tweet from the developer gave the time windows that are available to help stress test the game and servers. It’s mostly a handful of hours at specific times, but it should give you a peek into a world much larger than Fallout 4. You can check out all the times below.
As the #Fallout76 B.E.T.A. becomes available for everyone on Oct. 30, we wanted to look ahead to next week’s anticipated sessions.
Times are subject to change with issues that may arise, but we’re hopeful this schedule will stay. Thank you for all your support! pic.twitter.com/9fRb5Vx5m7

Fallout 76 is coming November 14th. Set in West Virginia, you and some friends will be able to explore, build, and collect all kinds of junk after exiting Vault 76 to reclaim the outside world. We look forward to seeing how that will change with the introduction of multiplayer in a traditionally single player game.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
