The Farming Simulator series must be one of the biggest shock successes of the video gaming world. People love a tractor – who would have thunked it? But the next installment is set to out-yield all of the others if the promises about Farming Simulator 19 become reality. It’s digital harvesting but not as we know it.
Giants took to the Playstation Blog to announce the next edition. And they couldn’t hide their excitement as they described all of the improvements they have planned. So many, in fact, it reads like a shopping list. *Clears throat*
Farming Simulator 19 will boast a completely overhauled graphics engine, which will in turn produce “the most striking and immersive visuals and effects, along with the deepest and most complete farming experience ever“. Cue trailer.
There will be three different open worlds to choose from at launch (their words; does that mean others are planned?). One of which will be an improved example of the South American farmstead, though you’ll have to wait a little longer to learn about the other two. But let’s get to the important stuff.
Forget the scenery, we’re all wanting to know about the machinery. The diesel guzzling, crop munching, soil churning behemoths. Well, it’s good news my friend. Farming Simulator 19 will feature the greatest selection of vehicles to date with a host of new brands ready to swap your paper ponies for horsepower. But that’s not all. There will also be:
- New Farming Activities
- New Animals With Horses
- Brand New Mechanics
- New Crops
All of the above will be revealed and detailed further over the next few months. And Farming Simulator 19 will launch sometime this year.
Do you have your dungarees hanging on the door ready? Is there a specific tool you’d like to see making an appearance? Crops or animals? Let us know below.
