From its humble beginnings as a VR tech demo, Eve: Valkyrie has steadily been putting out new maps for its virtual pilots. On April 11th, the “Groundrush” update will introduce a new map named Solitude, and it will take players out of space for the first time.
Set on a snowy planet with rocky crags, you will be able to navigate the surface, as well as the interior of buildings. If they added a flat terrain with some approaching AT-ATs, they would have a decent Hoth (and, probably a life-ruining lawsuit from Disney).
Along with the usual bug fixes, Control and Carrier Assault will be added to co-op modes allowing your squad to take on the AI. English subtitles will be available, and there will be new avatar animations.
If you already own the game, “Groundrush” will be a free update, so you can be ready to make a little noise in Solitude on April 11th.
