Remember when Square Enix released a mobile iteration of their popular Hitman franchise? Remember how it actually turned out to be hit, man? Well good news then it’s coming to pretty much every relevant PlayStation devise. That’s PS4, PS3 and PS Vita – yeah we still consider the Vita relevant here in Pure PlayStation. The game will be landing in the PS Store on the 23rd of February, 2016, for €7.99.
This being the ‘Definitive Edition’ means you’ll get a little more bang for your buck. The game comes with all of Hitman GO’s original content and all of its upgrades, so all in all you’ll be getting around 91 turn-based puzzles. Wait, turn-based puzzles? Well this being a port of a mobile game guaranteed that it wouldn’t be a traditional Hitman game, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some familiar sites. For example the St. Petersburg Stakeout mission from Hitman 2 makes a return.
Anyway to wrap up, yes there’s a platinum trophy. Yes there’s cross-save and cross-buy between all three consoles. Yes there’s improved visuals. Yes you can use the Vita’s buttons if touch screens aren’t your thing. Done.
Pure PlayStation for everything PlayStation.
Conor is Pure PlayStation’s resident Irishman. Naturally that means he’s constantly slurring his words and turning up stinking of Guiness with a potato in his pocket. It’s not all bad though, because Conor is also a PlayStation nut. When he’s not doing his best Father Jack impression (Father Ted, watch it) he’s got a DualShock 4 in his hand and a Vita in the other. Yeah, we don’t know how he manages it either.
