The PS Plus games for January hit the PlayStation Blog, and they are a mixed bag this month. First, you have the upbeat and cartoony Day of the Tentacle Remastered. Originally released in 1993, this classic adventure game was designed and written in part by gaming darling, Tim Shafer. This version will let you switch between retro and remastered graphics, and there is also a developer commentary.
The second PS4 game is This War of Mine: The Little Ones, and it has a much bleaker tone. You are tasked with helping people during a war by scavenging food and supplies, while keeping your group safe and making some tough decisions. It looks like an interesting take on the survival genre, and it could be a real gem.
The PS Vita clings to life with the matching puzzler, Azkend 2, and the all-boss-fighting, one-arrow-having Titan Souls.
