We can now confirm the leaked PS Plus games, and they were correct. January’s PS Plus games have been announced, and there is AAA title coming next month.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the biggest name in the monthly basket of free games. The dystopian sequel takes Adam Jensen on an adventure in a world currently being divided between augmented and non-augmented humans. Players are still free to choose how to approach a given situation, and the visuals are a big step up from Human Revolution.
The second game is Telltale’s take on the Dark Knight. Batman: The Telltale Series bounces between the characters of both Batman and Bruce Wayne in an original story. We see villains including the Penguin, the varying degrees of criminality of Catwoman, and a Bruce Wayne torn between his past and future.
PSVR owners will also have a new free game. Starblood Arena will pit you against other pilots with different ships and weapons. You can check out the trailer here.
Here are the rest of the titles, and you can start downloading all of them on January 2nd.
- Sacred 3, PS3
- The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, PS3
- Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
- Uncanny Valley, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
Have you been happy with previous months of PS Plus, or is this the first good month in a while? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
