KONA is hitting the PSVR today as a bundle for new players or as paid DLC for existing owners. The story takes place in rural Northern Canada in the 1970s. You are Carl Fauberet, a private detective solving a mystery in a small town. You will perform your investigation while also trying to survive the harsh and frosty climate. Northern Canada isn’t exactly known for its tropical weather. Enjoy the blizzard.
The game has some flexibility for new players. You can save your progress between the VR or flat versions of the game and play either at any time. The move controller will allow you to pick up items and examine them. Finally, there is a comfort or normal mode that should allow you to pick your level of challenge when exploring.
Check out the launch trailer, and you can purchase either version on the PSN today.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
