From her beginnings as a reluctant hero, Lara has had to learn quite a bit on the job. She has learned how to go spelunking, counter paramilitary and supernatural forces, and master ancient puzzles. Based on the latest trailer, Lara has been spending some time at the range. Similar to the Linda Hamilton’s transition from Terminator 1 to the incredible Judgement Day, she is no stranger to guns.
This time, Lara is packing quite the arsenal. She still retains one of the best bows in gaming, but she is spicing things up with what appears to be an automatic pistol, phosphorous rounds, gas and fragmentation grenades, and an assault rifle for good measure. She is prepared for any situation. That helps when you are trying to stop a Mayan apocalypse.
We are less than a month from Lara’s next great adventure, and we cannot wait to get our hands on Shadow of the Tomb Raider when it hits jungles, tombs, and your favorite retailer on September 12th.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
