A long time ago on a console generation far far away the very first TT Games Lego video game was born. It was known as Lego Star Wars: The Video Game and if we’re completely honest they did a better job at telling the Prequel Trilogy’s story that the films did. In fact it was so good that people all around the world said ‘go on give us another one,’ so TT Games did. It was called Lego Star War: The Original Trilogy.
Now since then there’s been approximately 53,780 more Lego video games, including another Star Wars one set during the Clone Wars. However, we have now received news that the Star Wars film based Lego games are finally returning, starting with Lego The Force Awakens on June 28th. They are planning to add in some extra levels to help shed some light on what happens between episodes Six and Seven.
PlayStation fans are actually getting some special treatment in the form of two exclusive DLC packs. These will be called the Droid Character Pack and the Phantom Limb Level. Unfortunately, that’s all the details we have on the packs so far, but they will be available on both PS3 and PS4. However, we have no word on a Vita release. You can check out the games trailer below, which acts as a parody to the first movie teaser.
Conor is Pure PlayStation’s resident Irishman. Naturally that means he’s constantly slurring his words and turning up stinking of Guiness with a potato in his pocket. It’s not all bad though, because Conor is also a PlayStation nut. When he’s not doing his best Father Jack impression (Father Ted, watch it) he’s got a DualShock 4 in his hand and a Vita in the other. Yeah, we don’t know how he manages it either.
