MXGP3, the official Motocross video game that we wrote about last month, has had its launch date delayed by two weeks, as announced on its official website.
The title had initially been due for release on May 12th but is now scheduled for May 30th in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and South Africa; America will have to wait until June 20th.
Milestone explained that the delay was due to necessary polishing.
There’s no point in turning up at the start line sat on the back of a bike you know could be a little bit better, a little bit sharper, a little bit faster.
To help soften the blow, the studio did release a new trailer demonstrating their new Scrub control feature that is a result of community requests. Check it out above.
Kudos to Milestone. It makes a change for a studio to decide a game still needs work instead of releasing with issues and trying to firefight with patches.
Is MXGP3 on your radar? Or do you prefer four wheels instead of two?
