The closed beta of Ghost Recon Wildlands ended not too long ago and you can even check out our impressions of that time here. Hint: They were extremely positive but with the hope things wouldn’t get repetitive in the full game. Hot off the heels though is the announcement of the open beta happening from February 23rd to the 27th. However, this time the provinces you can access are different and will provide separate environments. Itacua is a mountainous province where the Santa Blanca Cartel’s grip is looser and Montuyoc which is the high, snowy tableland of central South America and home to the Santa Blanca elite training centers.
Players who simply enter the open beta will get access to the Unidad Conspiracy mission in the full game. The ghosts will work together in order to spark a war between the local, corrupt militia group and the Santa Blanca Cartel. This will only be available until March 31st.
Ghost Recon Wildlands will release on March 7th and can be pre-ordered here. There’s also a nice open beta 101 trailer for your viewing pleasure up above. Here’s hoping to see Pure PlayStation readers in the upcoming experience. Except you can’t get mad when we blow up cars near your location. It just means we love you.
