We have not one, but three sales running on PSN to tempt you today. The Outbreak Day Sale celebrates one of PlayStation’s newer and most revered franchises. The Last of Us Remastered is on sale for $7.99, but not the PS3 version of the game. However, there is plenty of DLC for both that takes a price dip.
The THQ Nordic Sale dips into a catalog filled with motorcycles, platformers, and heaven and hellish wars. The Darksiders’ franchise is on sale, MX vs ATV games and DLC take a fall in price, and This is the Police (review) can be had for less. The true steal of this sale is the plaftormer Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams – Director’s Cut for $1.49. It has an 80 on Metacritic, and, in an interesting bit of trivia, every one of the six reviews listed gave it that score.
PS Plus Specials is the last of the three. It has a more varied balance of hits from Battlefield 1, The Crew 2, and Nier: Automata to smaller or more niche titles such as Farming Simulator 17, Senran Kagura Estival Versus, and Typoman. It’s worth a looky loo for something you may have missed in a previous sale.
Check out all the deals here, and please be sure to let everyone know if you found something extra special in this week’s sales.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
