There’s a new demo disc coming soon to the PlayStation Store, though this time it’s releasing as ‘PSVR Demo Compilation 3’ rather than Demo Disk 3. Makes sense, really, considering you have to download the demo ‘disk’.
That aside, the PSVR Demo Compilation 3 has been rated by the PEGI ratings board for Europe, indicating an imminent release. What’s more is that the PEGI rating has also revealed a few of the games that will be included in the upcoming demo.
Unfortunately the rating’s website doesn’t show everything, but it does show that Astro Bot Rescue Mission will be getting a playable demo. We’ll also see SUPERHOT VR getting a demo, too, as well as Resident Evil 7 to allow players to see its PSVR mode in action. Be warned, mind, as Resident Evil 7 is pants-shittingly scary at the best of times, and even more so inside the PlayStation VR headset.
The rating also states it has a release date of January 12th, 2019 – this is obviously inaccurate. As of today (14.01.19) the demo has yet to release, though it’ll likely go live during the next European PlayStation Store update this week.
