The Last of Us 2 was the topic of discussion earlier today during this year’s PlayStation Experience as Neil Druckmann sat on stage and refused to let slip any major details. Fair enough, we suppose, but we did at least get a few tidbits worth mentioning.
According to Druckmann, Naughty Dog is around 50-60% through development of Joel and Ellie’s follow-up adventure, though he admitted that was a rough estimate on his part.
While there’s not really anything of note for us to write about in terms of the game itself, Druckmann did state that The Last of Us 2 will get a proper showing at E3 2017, so be ready for some gameplay trailers and the like next summer. Seems like an age away, but trust us when we say that time will fly by.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella.
