Welcome to November, my fellow gamers. It’s a month often known for some of the biggest releases and some of the biggest sales. Whether you are still being an outlaw like a lot of us or whether you are moving onto different gaming frontiers, this is the month many dedicate to growing that backlog as surely as the leaves change and the balance in our bank accounts fall.
Take a look at how we will be spending our weekend to lay the ground work for that inevitable avalanche. Be sure to drop your plans in the comments. Maybe you can teach us a thing or three about being mature and responsible, or you can just let us know how you do the same.
This weekend I’ll be selling shoes, shoes, and more shoes. But when I get some time away from the shop, you’ll find me blasting fools and entertaining strangers with half arsed apologies in Firewall Zero Hour on PSVR. I. Am. Addicted.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and the Fallout 76 beta will be fighting for my time equally. RDR2 is fun and great, but the meticulousness gets tiring after awhile. Plus, the Fallout beta is actually really good. I’m blown away by how well everything is handled for an online game.
I am putting my hard hat and hi viz jacket on this weekend as I give Dragon Quest Builders a go. These mining / building games are my cup of tea so I’m hoping this one lives up to its reputation.
I’m still living it large in the Wild West, rootin’ tootin’ and shootin’ my way through Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m not as far through it as I would like, but in typical Rockstar fashion I find myself getting lost and stumbling across a 101 different things that take me away from the main storyline, which is something I both love and hate in equal measure.
When I am not working on some reviews and being my own technical support for internet issues, I will be riding through the open range in Red Dead Redemption 2 trying to live out my outlaw dreams. I guess I can help the occasional person trapped under a horse too, if I am not also accidentally pistol-whipping them as they thank me.
I’m still reveling in the delights of Red Dead 2. The urge to keep playing and progressing fights with my want for it to never end, so while I will be playing a good deal of it this weekend I’ll continue to progress at a suitably languid pace. LENNY!
I feel so spoiled right now. I’m having a blast playing Red Dead 2, I just received a cool game to review that is so far a lot of fun, and, like Pure PlayStation czar Chris, I’m completely addicted to PSVR’s Firewall Zero Hour. I plan on playing all three at some point over the weekend.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
