Pure PlayStation Plays: Week 21

The weekend is upon us once again (seems to be every week, doesn’t it?) so that means the Pure PlayStation team are getting themselves ready for some hardcore gaming. Well, not hardcore. We’re not going to break our backs our anything, but we’ll have a fair bit of a fun.

Below we’ll tell you what we’re going to be playing this weekend, then we invite you to join in down in the comments section below.

Chris Harding

My weekend is going to be all about Lastfight! on PS4. It’s a new game that released on the PSN this week and I’ve been blessed with the duties of reviewing it. Here’s hoping it’s decent, yeah? Oh, and after that, Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is calling to me. I loved The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker on the Gamecube back in the day, so Oceanhorn should be right up my alley.

For PlayStation Plays: I look forward to finishing up Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity for review. It has been an interesting surprise. Also, why does Japan have so many little girl vampires? If I have any extra time, I will be playing the Nuka World DLC for Fallout 4. There was never the opportunity to be the demon of the wastes I wanted to be in the main game, so I look forward to doing raider-y things and trying a less wholesome experience.

I’ll be spending the majority of this weekend attacking giant naked men, with swords, whilst swinging about the place like Spiderman. Then playing some Attack on Titan! (That may make more sense once the review goes up… coming soon) and if I’ve got time, possibly chilling out with Journey.

Kyle Durant

I’ve just finished Slain: Back From Hell as much as I wanted and might dabble in a few Rocket League matches this weekend. However, I’m very excited to check out Atom Universe which was released on the Store today. It looks like it aims to recapture the PlayStaion Home crowd. Also, there’s a sale on a Fairy Fencer F game. Might pick that up unless someone has any horror stories.

Brian Milchman

I’ll just be having a super relaxed weekend. I recently moved house and I’m currently lamenting over how much money it has cost me. Maybe I should have just gotten myself a nice big box, a-la Solid Snake…

Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella.
