Yes, it’s that time of the week again. Work, lectures and whatever else you and we have been up to throughout the week are finally all finished for a brief interval. An interval we all hope will be filled with some glorious gaming time. Unless you’re one of those poor souls who works through the weekend… don’t worry, we’ve all been there. You can check out what we’re going to be playing this weekend at Pure PlayStation below, and even
belower – no that’s not right – even lower you can let us know in the comments what gaming antics you have planned for your time off, or just insult our fine choice in video games, up to you.
Being the resident youngster here at Pure PlayStation I have recently started University and consequently been absent from the site the past few weeks due to… ‘University related shenanigans’ we’ll call it. In the name of productivity for Pure PlayStation I’ve set up my PS4 and TV in my room, hooked it up to the questionable at best internet and jumped back in. Now that I’ve brought you up to speed, we can get onto my gaming plans. Due to the unstable internet, I have embarked on either my 4th or 5th playthrough of the Last Of Us (I forget), which never ceases to impress and engage me with its phenomenal storyline. If you haven’t played The Last Of Us it comes highly recommended and won’t set your wallet back too far anymore. On top of this, I will be buying an ethernet cable in the hope it speeds up my internet enough to jump back into some Overwatch and Rocket League.
It’s time to go to the carnival with Carnival Games VR! Yep, I’ll be throwing balls at tin cans, riding the ghost train, and hopefully eating my weight in candyfloss (cotton candy for the North Americans.) Once I’ve had my fun with that, I’ll be dipping my head back into Tethered on PSVR. It’s a great little game and I WILL get to the top of the leaderboards, if only for a fleeting moment…
I will be finishing up the latest episode of Batman for review and try to find clever ways to not eat all the candy in the house, before I have to hand it out for Halloween. I will also be playing let’s make a deal as I investigate new laptops. My current machine keeps trying to give out on me one part at a time.
Battlefield 1 and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will take up all my time. The inner child in me is greatly looking forward to this weekend. In fact, I may build a fort around my play area and put a no girls allowed sign to keep out the wife.
I’ll be spending this weekend dipping in and out of metroidesque Exile’s End, while playing the crap out of the best robo-romance story of the year: Titanfall 2, the multiplayer anyway as the campaign already came and went… but more on that when the review goes out, coming soon!
