One of the first big announcements of 2017 is the launch date for Mass Effect: Andromeda, and it is really soon. The prospect of a new game has us very excited. We will have a new ship to explore a new part of the universe with a new set of companions, and we hope to not need any new endings for this one after it launches.
What are you doing this weekend?
So my backlog hunt continues and this weekend will be all about Mad Max. It’s a little weird so far an hour in but we’ll see if I stick with it.
I have a free Saturday! Whoo-hoo!!! I’ve not had one of these in a long while and, as it’s snowing like there’s no tomorrow, I’ll be spending my time indoors with Until Dawn: Rush of Blood on PSVR, tending to my businesses in Adventure Capitalist (it’s addictive) and making my way to the end of Titanfall 2’s surprisingly awesome single-player campaign.
Having recently dispensed with the cartoon craziness of Shantae: Half Genie Hero, (keep your eyes peeled for the review this weekend) I need something a bit more serious, fortunately I just picked up Mafia 3 and having played through the first couple of hours, I’m loving the emotional notes of its revenge story. So that.
I will have some family in town all weekend, so we will be playing some multiplayer games, including our traditional racing game staring a fat plumber and his friends on another console. Heresy, I know.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
