Whoops. Somebody left this one a little late, didn’t they? Let’s not go pointing fingers though, as we’re all sure that whoever left the weekly edition of Pure PlayStation Plays til the last minute is a genuinely top dude that deserves a bit of slack…
Yes, it is once again the weekend. The working week has come to an end and it generally means that we’ll all take a bit of time to kick back and relax with a few games. As is the usual ’round here, the Pure PlayStation team will tell you what they’re getting up to this weekend, and you’re free to leave your comments down below. Like, seriously, c’mon, comment. We’ve seen the numbers, we know you read this every week, so stop being shy. It’s not a bad thing to have a crush on the handsome bossman, Chris. Too much?
This weekend I will be playing… Night Nurse: Mother Teresa – Real Life Edition. No, it’s not the latest in VR simulation, but it’s actually a real task. My other half and our spawn of satan are both sick as dogs, so I’ll be tending to their every need. Oh, did I forget to mention I’m sick as well? Please, send tea and sympathy to Pure PlayStation HQ…
This weekend is going to be all about that VR. I’ll be reviewing a game called Mervils and I’m interested in trying out that Jaunt app that people keeping going on about. Besides that, maybe some Battlefield 1.
I will be working on a review for one of America’s heroes. I will be playing a firefighter simulation and rescuing people, protecting property, and generally doing good. I am not saying I will be ready for my own calendar shoot at the end, but I am leaving the possibility open that the community I serve may demand it.
I’m attempting the mammoth task of reviewing both Berserk and the band of the hawk and Torment Tides of Numenera, two games, sooo much time. Helps that they may as well be the polar opposite of each other. Spoiler alert – totally worth it.
There’s no rugby on TV this weekend so that will give me some more free time. I might hop on a plane to Afghanistan to spend the day with Snake in Metal Gear Solid V, or hot foot it over to Kyrat to liberate a few more radio towers in Far Cry 4. To be honest, I’m still buzzing from Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy getting a release date. Ooga booga!
This weekend I’m going back to some good old Rocket League, it’s been awhile and it’s one of those games I’ll never truly stop playing. Predicting a lot of both Rocket League and Overwatch in my foreseeable future… At least until I get myself a copy of For Honor.
