Wow. It has just dawned on me that we’ve been doing this feature for well over a year now. Sweet. Personally, I’m no good at keeping anything going for more than a few minutes, nevermind a whole year.
If you’re a regular reader, you know the drill by now. If you’re a newbie to the Pure PlayStation way of life, here’s what Pure PlayStation Plays is all about: Each week we post what we’re playing over the weekend, and then we invite you to share your gaming plans down in the comments section. Easy peasy. So, here we go.
E3! It seems to come around quicker and quicker each year, doesn’t it? Or is that my age showing? Moving on… I’ll be spending as much time as possible watching as many E3 pressers as time allows. When I’m not soaking in all the announcements, I’ll be giving Rockband a whirl while I eagerly await The Killers’ first single from their fifth studio album. Other than that, not much else. Lots of time will be spent on Pure PlayStation to keep the readers up to date with what’s what. You’re bloody welcome, might I add.
I am excited to see what surprises E3 will bring in the next few days. Beyond working a little this weekend, I will be impatiently trying to distract myself until the conference on Monday to let me know how to allocate my gaming dollars for the rest of the year. I will be trying to make some time for Torment: Tides of Numenera. I have not finished the game yet, but I would probably buy an expansion for the game, if it was announced. I will also be taking advantage of the Days of Play sale for Horizon Zero Dawn with an additional 20% off from Best Buy.
So, er, just a short one this week then. To be honest, I’ve no idea where the rest of the crew are. Perhaps they’re planning a mutiny to remove me from power? Time to bolt down the office supplies, ’cause I’m going nowhere!
What are your weekend plans, then? Lots of gaming at home, or maybe on the go? Or will you be ditching the telly in favour of watching E3 2017 livestreams? Get on down to the comments section below and let us know.
Chris has been writing about gaming news for far too long, and now he’s doing it even more. A true PlayStation know-it-all, Chris has owned just about every Sony console that ever existed. Trophies are like crack to this fella.
