The Triple P turns 60 this week. That’s pretty impressive, right? We didn’t think it would last this long either. You know what else is impressive? We all lived through another week! I know you’re probably busy, grinding away, worrying about the day job, or school, or any of the other bull&*it we use to tear ourselves down, but I implore you—take a break. Put your feet up and relax. Besides, I hate to say it, but Monday will be here before you know it. So I’ll leave you with something my grandma used to say: It’s the weekend. Drinks will be poured. Duties will be shirked. Games will be played. And stop whining.
She was a sweet lady.
I’ve got a busy weekend ahead of me. With tonsillitis infecting the House of Harding, I’m confined to sofa rest and lots of games. I’ve got Ancient Amuletor for PSVR on the reviews front, and then I’m going to spend a bit of time playing Ratchet and Clank on PS4 as Charlie just loves the Disney-style colours and graphics.
I’m going to spend the weekend scaring myself with an asymmetrical horror game. No, not the one I haven’t been able to play that has the number 13 in it (review releasing shortly). I’ll be playing Dead by Daylight in honor of its console release…I may even give live streaming a shot. In between bouts of fear induced delight, I will also play Toby the Secret Mine (review coming later).
I finally decided to see what the future will look like, and I will be trying out PS VR demos this weekend. I am hoping to not feel sick. When I need some time away from admiring my new helmet of joy, I will finally be playing some Horizon Zero Dawn, using my bow, and fighting some mechanical animals.
This weekend I will be swapping the Batman comics for the real shizzle in Return to Arkham. Though it’s not in the same league as made-from-scratch 2k17 releases, it’s Batman. Enough said. Does my Batarang look big in this?
I’ll mostly be biding my time, waiting for Arizona Sunshine to drop next week. But in the interim, I’ll be playing some Ancient Amuletor co-op to help Chris with his review. Speaking of co-op, I’ll hopefully get some Dick Wilde couch co-op in with the Better Half as well. If getting some Dick Wilde couch co-op isn’t a euphemism for something else, then it should be. Enough about us, what are you all playing this weekend? Hit us up in the comments below.
