Here we go again with another edition of Pure PlayStation Plays. It’s that time of the week where we flip off our bosses and run away from the office in the hope they’ll forget about it by Monday. They never do, though, so perhaps a change of tactic is in order…
As long-time readers will know, this is where the good folks behind Pure PlayStation put their weekend gaming plans into words and share them with the world. The idea is that we all share what we’re doing, and then you – the readers – can share your gaming plans down in the comments section below. Simple. Easy. Fun. Harmless. Mostly. Without further waffle, here’s what the Pure PlayStation people are doing this weekend.
My weekend will be spent catching up with, well, just about everything. I’ve spent just over a week away from the site and I feel like I’ve lost out on all the announcements, rumours, teasers, and everything else that has happened in the interim. I’ll be spending a lot of time reading and replying to emails, and if time allows, I may even get some gaming done. I’ve got my eye on DOOM VFR, if only to have a reason to pull out the PSVR Aim controller again. There’s also the DLC for Arizona Sunshine that I’ve yet to have a look at it, so count me in for that on Saturday night. Everything else will be work-related playing/writing/reading/procrastinating. Yay!
I will be trying to set aside some quiet time to work on reviews this weekend. Any other free time will be spent basking in the crazy, neon-filled genius of Yakuza 0.
The PSOne is plugged into its life support for a retro gaming marathon. Pacman is hungry for biscuits, those pesky Space Invaders are asking for an ass whooping, and there’s no better way to see Turin than from the window of a Mini Cooper in The Italian Job. Peaches for peaches!
My playtime is extremely limited this weekend – best man duties at a wedding tomorrow followed by a day to recover means should I be able to stagger from my pit, the bright lights of South Park: The Fractured but Whole may just get a look in.
I’ll be fumbling through the controls of Doom VFR some of the weekend. Depending on how that goes, I’ll probably spend some time flailing my Moves about the living room, as I wander the world of Skyrim VR.
Once again did a ton of work on my backlog before the Destiny 2 expansion hits this coming Tuesday. As such the weekend is going to be a little slow, but I do plan on trying out The Elder Scrolls Online trial. All signs point to it not working out but we’ll see.
And that’s that. Head on down to the comments and let us know what you’re planning on playing over the weekend. Or mock our plans. Whatever.
