Ho-ho-ho! Now we have machine guns! Or we’ve just watched the perfect Christmas movie, Die Hard, too many times in an attempt to get into the Christmas spirit. After having watched John McLane shoot bad guys over and over and over, we’re just about ready to call it Christmas around here.
With it being the Christmas Special we’re… doing nothing extra special for this article. What? If we start giving Christmas special treatment then we’ll have all the other holidays with their hands out. No thank you. The drill stays the same. For those who’ve drunkenly stumbled upon this article, this is where the Pure PlayStation team shares their gaming plans for the coming weekend. You’re free to join in down in the comments section, too, so don’t be shy, say hi!
Yippy-kay-yay, mother huggers.
For me Christmas means three days away from the day job. Whoop! I’ll be catching up on some much-needed rest as well as over-indulgence in all things good. My house is going to stink. When I’m not sat in the corner, off my tits on narcotics, I’ll be sat in front of the TV, off my tits on narcotics. Honestly, I’ve no idea what I’m going to be playing this weekend. My time is normally regimented by my other half and the child we co-own, but as they’re back in the UK for Christmas, all structure has gone out the window. Basically, I don’t know what’s going to happen. I just hope it’s all good.
I am a little limited in my play time this weekend, but I will be working on a review and exploring more of ancient Egypt in Assassin’s Creed Origins. Everyone needs my help, but I just want to climb a pyramid and kill crocodiles.
I’ll be getting into the Christmas spirit with some good old-fashioned family fun in the form of Darkest Dungeon. I just picked it up on sale. I heard it was the feel good hit of last summer. Wish me luck.
My plan for over the weekend (besides the standard eat, drink and be merry) is to flit between Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 and another nameless game on another nameless console that involves a fight to the death in the hope of winning a chicken dinner, as opposed to turkey.
As it is the weekend of food and films, my selection of games will be of the short and share variety. So the blue cases that have won the honour of Christmas playing are TrackMania Turbo, Binding of Isaac, FIFA 18, F1 2016 and the mini golf in Rugrats Search For Reptar. Let the family leaderboard battle begin!
Kyle couldn’t get his plays submission in on time because he’s busy cosplaying as Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. Last we saw he was getting a lot of male attention. And enjoying it.
