After Walmart leaked some games last week, it was pretty much a confirmation that some of them had to be real. We are just under a month from E3, so expect more leaks than a child without a diaper. Today, we have our first title to come into the spotlight.
Rage 2 has been officially confirmed, and we have a trailer that shows us…something. It’s a live-action music video more than anything else. There are mutants, dancing post-apocalyptic scavengers, and a lot of colored smoke or powdered body paint. It looks like a rave in the world of Mad Max.
There is no gameplay. Another trailer is scheduled to drop tomorrow that promises to deliver on that and more information. (Perhaps a release date?) Since the last game released in 2011, there should be some amazing changes, especially considering the visual quality of games like Doom and Wolfenstein.
We look forward to bringing you a gameplay trailer and more details tomorrow. Since this is Bethesda, we might see this game by the end of the year.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
