Against Gravity has announced today that it’s bringing Rec Room to PS4 and PSVR. And guess what? It’s free! Actually free! No strings attached! Or at least we don’t think there are…
So, what is Rec Room? It’s exactly what it says it is: a recreational room, duh. You can play any of the game’s activities with other players online, or, and this is something used in the promotional materials for the game, you can… hang out in the locker rooms. Sounds a touch perverted, but according to the game’s Steam page, there is a strict code of conduct. Any funny business and you’ll be banished.

- Review: Robonauts – PS4
Against Gravity has released two new teaser trailers to give PSVR owners a glimpse at what’s to come. Rec Room is due to release Q4 2017, but there’s no actual release date as of yet but it should be out before the end of this year – providing there are no major setbacks.
It looks like a decent little social game, and after having read some of the Steam reviews, we’re well up for it. Naturally, then, we’ve signed up for the beta test and you can, too, via the request form. You’ll have to give a few details about what console you have, how often you use your PSVR headset and what not, but it’s nothing too invasive.
Will you be giving Rec Room the run around? Will you be signing up for the beta? Let us know down in the comments section below.
