A couple of days some dude on the internet decided to go over to NeoGaf and make all the little boys and girls giddy by posting an off-screen picture of what is allegedly Red Dead Redemption 2’s map (yes, we know, it’s not going to be called RDR2…).
NeoGaf is known for its fair share of leakers so we were initially like “oh, wow, cool!” until we took a closer look and decided that it’s faker than a three-quid note. For one, there are more than a few anomalies with the map’s layout and topography, most notably that there are two towns lying outside of the world’s boundaries.
The whole thing just looks a little fishy to us, though Tech Radar – a site we trust about as far as we can throw ourselves – claims, again, to have sources close to Rockstar that have confirmed the map is real. We’re not convinced. The picture is down below, so take a look for yourself and see what you think. One thing we can be sure of is that Donald Trump would absolutely love this one – there’s no Mexico on the map.
Of course, it’s only a matter of time before Rockstar officially announces the long-awaited sequel, so we’re just better off ignoring all leaks. Right?
