RIGS Mechanized Combat League Will Have a Single Player Campaign

One of the most anticipated PlayStation VR titles is RIGS. The game that allows you to pilot an oversized mech suit and destroy other player-controlled mechs while trying to score points. Since it’s announcement, Guerrilla Cambridge has been very vocal and detailed on the multiplayer aspect of RIGS Mechanized Combat League. However, today they announced that there will indeed be an offline, single player experience and it’s a pretty straight forward Career Mode. You and your AI team defeat other teams while progressing through the story. You’ll unlock new RIGS (mechs,) pilots, and outfits while doing so.

RIGS Mechanized Combat League is expected to launch alongside the PlayStation VR on October 13th. If you pre-order RIGS, you’ll receive developer-themed outfits such as helmets, uniforms, and visor graphics. Let us know if you’ll be picking it up! That is if you were able to get a PlayStation VR for release day.
