SEGA Mega Drive Classics Announced for PS4, Releasing May 29th With Over 50 Retro Hits

SEGA has announced today that it will be releasing SEGA Mega Drive Classics on PS4 a little later this year, and that the collection of retro hits will include more than 50 games.

Writing over on the official PlayStation Blog, SEGA community manager Ibrahim Bhatti announced that the collection will hit PS4 on May 29th. However, there was no mention as to whether it will be a digital-only release or if there will be a physical edition to drop money into.

Bhatti did, however, announce some enhancements that will be coming to the games in SEGA Mega Drive Classics. If a game supports multiplayer, you’ll be able to play either locally or online with a friend. Not a bad touch, eh? There’s also some enhancement filters to tweak, too.
