Anime games plop you into the world and allow you to interact with the characters you loved (or hated) from a show. One of the next shows to get the console treatment is The Seven Deadly Sins. It will allow you to follow the original story of the anime with Elizabeth and Melodias as they collect the Seven Deadly Sins.
There are two new modes revealed today. Adventure Mode has you following rumors to find the members of your old band. This mode follows the story from the original anime. Completing side quests will increase “rumors” which helps you to find more of your elusive ex-comrades, and additional story updates are planned when the new anime season starts next year.
Duel Mode lets you choose from one of 20 characters and fight offline or online in 1v1 or 2v2 fights. Characters can be customized with magic crystals you receive from your battles.
This should be able to settle some questions you have from the show. Is Hawk the greatest warrior ever, or is he just a loud walking stomach? We are going with the latter, but, bless his porky heart, he tries.
For the super fan, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia Wrath Collector’s Edition has been announced. It will contain the game, laser cell art from A-1 Pictures, and a 12cm (4.7 inch) statue of Melodias contained in a nice box. You can see the contents at the bottom.
Check out the new gameplay trailer, and enjoy your favorite vices in The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia on February 9th.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
