You may have noticed that we’ve yet to post our Destiny 2 review. With it being the biggest game of the year so far, we’d be foolish to not be covering the shooter, right? Well, yeah, you are right. But we want to do a decent job, so read on and we’ll explain why our review is going to take a little while.
Destiny 2 is a full-on shooter that’ll give players hundreds of hours of gameplay. Naturally, we want to give a fair impression to would-be buyers. It’d be easy enough to just play a few hours of the game, get a feel for what’s what and call it a day in order to get our review out the door faster. That’d be so easy and it’d actually benefit our traffic numbers, too. But what’s better? A quick hit of thousands of readers taking in a poor review, or a steady trickle that will appreciate a decent review that’s actually informative? The latter, obviously.
Our man Stuart McLean is on the case as we type this slow-news day article, and he’ll have his review ready once he feels he’s played enough to give the game a final opinion. Obviously, with it being a game that changes with every update, expansion release and so forth, it’s not an easy task. Still, we’ll always do our best and we hope you’ll appreciate the efforts.
