In the newest trailer for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, we see the brothers Jon and Robert as boys, interspersed with footage of Robert’s capture by an unknown military group. Like any well-trained and very well-armed brother, Jon intends to find the people responsible for Robert’s capture and make them pay. To get an firm idea of what he means, we recommend you check out the trailer at 39 seconds to see a rifle make a bad guy’s face explode, while a chunk of skin flies off in slow motion.
Set in Georgia (this one, not the one famous for peaches and pecans), the game will follow the story of both brothers who entered the military and took different paths. Their time in the service has shaped both men in substantially different ways, and not everything is what it seems.
After some delays, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will finally be released on April 25th, and we will be able to engage in all the large map stalking and face exploding our hearts can stand.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
