MLB The Show 16 is launching exclusively for the PS4 and PS3 on the 30th of March, 2016. There’s three editions of the game available, which are: the standard, the MVP Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The two special editions are pretty similar and include various amounts of stubs, sponsor packs, standard packs and so on, but the MVP Edition does include a steel bookcase to house the blu-ray disk.
While perusing the PlayStation Store earlier today we noticed that MLB The Show 16’s file size for the PS4 has been revealed. The game clocks in at 41.1GB so it will take up quite a bit of your hard drive space, you might want to delete some games to make room for it. Now as always this may not be the exact file size, sometimes an extra few gigabytes are added through day one patches or additional files but we don’t think the size will increase much if it does at all. There’s a screenshot from our PS4 down below so you can check out the file size for yourself.
Psst. Did you know we’re on Twitter? We’ve got a brand new account and it’s looking a bit empty. Give us a follow and stay up to date with the latest PlayStation news. We don’t bite (unless you’re into that).
Conor is Pure PlayStation’s resident Irishman. Naturally that means he’s constantly slurring his words and turning up stinking of Guiness with a potato in his pocket. It’s not all bad though, because Conor is also a PlayStation nut. When he’s not doing his best Father Jack impression (Father Ted, watch it) he’s got a DualShock 4 in his hand and a Vita in the other. Yeah, we don’t know how he manages it either.
