An announcement trailer for The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince just hit YouTube. In the game, there is a wolf who is disguised as a princess. She is guiding a prince through the dangerous woods to a witch who can restore his sight. You will keep the prince moving toward his goal by switching between the wolf for a more paws-on and violent approach and a princess when you need brain over brawn.
As you progress through the game, you will discover memories that tell you more about each of them. The trailer seems to indicate the wolf would like to be with the prince, but cannot. We will have to wait until 2019 to see how the tale ends, but you can check out the pre-order details here. As usual, NIS America does a decent job of rewarding gamers who buy physical editions.
Until its 2019 release, you really need to check out the trailer. The art is gorgeous, and, paired with the song, conveys the character’s emotions perfectly. Since it’s in Japanese, I assume it does anyway. The song could be about a love of hamburgers, and I wouldn’t know the difference, even if I could completely empathize with the sentiment.
If you know any Japanese, be sure to leave the true meaning of the song in the comments. You can also let us know how much you love hamburgers. If you feel compelled to talk about games on a gaming site, will you be placing your pre-order on The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince?
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
