It’s been a few weeks since we’ve reported on one of these, however there is yet again a brand new Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate weekend community event. The idea behind these events is to allow players to earn a little extra cash and/or XP for completing certain in-game tasks within a set period of time.
This weekend’s event is titled ‘A Bit of a Sparkle’; it began earlier today at 09:59 and it will run until 09:59 on June 13th. As the title implies you can earn a little extra cash for stealing things that sparkle from those pesky Blighters. To be more specific you can earn 15% more cash for completing cargo hijacks in any of London’s districts. Not too bad for completing a simple activity, right? We’ve included two screenshots below so you can check out the information for yourself.
Let us know what you thing of Ubisoft’s continuous support of Syndicate down in the comments. Are you happy with it or do you think it’s a cheap attempt to pull players back into the game? We think it’s a good sign for Ubisoft’s upcoming Watch Dogs 2, if their still supporting Syndicate then it probably means Watch Dogs 2 will also receive a lot of support on the tail end of its release. In a sadder piece of Ubisoft news they announced that they are shutting their Casablanca studio on June 13th.
Conor is Pure PlayStation’s resident Irishman. Naturally that means he’s constantly slurring his words and turning up stinking of Guiness with a potato in his pocket. It’s not all bad though, because Conor is also a PlayStation nut. When he’s not doing his best Father Jack impression (Father Ted, watch it) he’s got a DualShock 4 in his hand and a Vita in the other. Yeah, we don’t know how he manages it either.
