A new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 came ridin’ down the dusty trails of the internet today. Rockstar is one of the best in the trailer cutting business, so, even if you hate the game, you should probably watch it. It may be one of the better trailers for a western in general.
Those teases over at Rockstar pull back the curtain on the game’s story just a bit more. It’s 1899. The world is changing, and the life of an outlaw in what was once a vast wild area is no longer what it used to be. Do you follow your family, or do you forge your own path.
The trailer also appears to show the one thing we must have: a train robbery. If you are not excited by that, watch two spaghetti westerns and call a doctor in the morning.
There are few games that bring all (or at least most) of us together in excitement. For this very opinionated group, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a rare game. Perhaps, it’s the romance of the old West or the excitement of exploring a dangerous world with only the guise of civilization. Regardless of the reason, we cannot wait for the launch on October 26th.
Jason became terminally addicted to videogames after receiving the NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was cemented with the launch of the PS2. From then on, he was afflicted with epic RPGs, tense shooters, and deep strategy games, never becoming skillful, but never able to quit. He continues to play games (poorly) and share his passion for them to anyone willing to listen.
