After successfully being funded on Kickstarter for their project, inXile Entertainment went to work on Torment: Tides of Numenera for the PC. Today, in conjunction with Techland Publishing, they announced that a PS4 version is coming too and will release at the same time as the original PC one. Which at the moment is Q1 of 2017. The top down, science-fantasy, RPG takes place one billion years in the future. It will feature unique, distinct worlds, a personal narrative, grey area moral choices, and a whole host of combat possibilities.
“After the critical and commercial success of Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut on consoles, and with fans clamouring for it, it had been in our plans to bring Torment: Tides of Numenera to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One,” says Brian Fargo, inXile CEO. “We’re especially excited to be partnering with Techland, who as developers themselves perfectly understand how to do a release without any compromise to the quality of the title.”
They also released an exquisite trailer. You can check it out below and let us know what you think!
